Serenity Hospice PA continues to honor the heroes who are working tirelessly in our partner nursing homes. Today, we are so proud to say that over 130 healthcare heroes were served at Providence Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center at Mercy Fitz!
These healthcare heroes show day in and day out how dedicated they are to keep the senior community safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for all that you do!
Serenity Hospice continues to honor the staffs of our partners, as they continue to do amazing work during this crisis. We honor their hard work and dedication to their patients. Serenity Hospice wants to ensure them that we are there with them every step of the way.
The CDC has recommended wearing a face mask or a cloth face covering in public settings, especially in settings were social distancing is difficult, such as grocery stores. While everyone should always try to maintain a proper six feet from people to create social distance, read below about the benefits of wearing a cloth face covering, or a face mask.
This week is National Skilled Nursing Care Week which recognizes the essential role of skilled nursing care centers in caring for America’s elderly. We would like to recognize our local Senior Nursing healthcare heroes, and how they play a crucial role in caring for residents and saving lives. They deserve to be honored and celebrated, which is why we partnered with a local Senior Nursing Facility to bring an Ice Cream Truck to their hard working staff.
Serenity Hospice wants to make sure that our local heroes feel appreciated and know that we honor their bravery during this unprecedented time.
Serenity Hospice is so proud our nurses and all the nurses in the healthcare industry. You all are doing extraordinary work and we are taken away by all your strength and bravery during this crucial time. Nurses, thank you for all that you do!

Thank you for the care you provided to our mom in her final weeks. I took the plant you gave her for her birthday in March, home and planted it in my garden.
THE ENTIRE HOSPICE TEAM WAS OUTSTANDING! I AM FOREVER THANKFUL THAT A SERENITY STAFF MEMBER WAS WITH MS. GREEN WHEN SHE TOOK HER LAST BREATH.
